NFPA 99 — the Health Care Facilities Code — treats 23.5 percent oxygen by volume as the point at which a chamber atmosphere counts as oxygen-enriched, and from there requires continuous oxygen monitoring with an alarm above that figure in Class A chambers, plus antistatic and patient-grounding precautions. It is a threshold that triggers requirements, not a ceiling the code forbids you to cross. Our kit keeps the chamber atmosphere continuously refreshed through the chamber for the whole session, working to keep the interior atmosphere under that ceiling.
