Install Day Starts on the Staging Cart: Inside the Prestige Workshop
Before the truck leaves, every Prestige delivery gets a rolling cart, a printed checklist, and a second set of eyes. Here is why that quiet workshop ritual makes install day feel effortless.
Here is a workshop secret: install day does not start in your driveway. It starts on a rolling cart in our Holiday, Florida workshop, a day or two before the truck ever leaves. Every chamber we deliver gets its own staging cart, and that cart is where a smooth, calm, nothing-forgotten install is really won.
Why a cart, and not just a box
Anybody can throw a chamber on a truck. What turns delivery into a great ownership experience is everything around the chamber: the tubing, the fittings, the filters, the tools, the paperwork, and the plan. A shipping box hides all of that until it is too late to fix. A staging cart puts every piece out in the open, on a bench, under good light, where a real technician can look at it, count it, and sign off on it.
So that is how we do it. The chamber gets its own preflight on the bench. The cart gets its own preflight right next to it. Both have to pass before anything rolls out the door.
What goes on the cart
Every cart is built around the exact chamber and the exact room it is headed to, but the bones look the same every time:
Air and oxygen connections. Tubing is measured for the room plan, coiled clean, and capped so nothing gets inside before it is connected. Fittings are matched to the system they are going on, not grabbed from a bin on the day.
Filters and consumables. Fresh filters go in at install, and we like to leave owners with a head start on the next round so routine care never turns into a scramble.
The right tools. The install kit is checked against the job, so our team is not borrowing a wrench from your garage or running to the hardware store mid-setup.
The paper trail. A printed checklist rides on the cart: what was staged, what was tested, and what still needs to happen on site. It is old school on purpose. Paper does not need a signal, and a signature on a clipboard means somebody owned that step.
The count-out
Before the cart is wrapped, a second set of eyes does a count-out against the checklist. It is a quick ritual, but it is the one that keeps install day relaxed. If something is missing, we find out at the bench, where the parts wall is ten steps away, instead of in your living room. Keeping parts on hand is not a nice-to-have for us; it is the reason a staging cart can be finished the same afternoon it is started.
This is also where our engineers keep improving the process. When a technician notices a better way to route tubing in a tight room, or a fitting that makes a connection cleaner, that idea gets written down, tested in the workshop, and folded into the next cart. Small upgrades, designed in-house, that add up to installs that feel effortless.
What it means on install day
When the cart arrives at your place, the team already knows what is on it and why. The chamber gets placed, connected, and tested. Then comes the part we love most: training. We walk owners through startup, pressurization, daily checks, and oxygen safety basics, and we do not leave until the questions run out. For softshell owners who choose white-glove installation, that means moving, unpacking, installation, testing, use instruction, and after-support, handled by the people who prepped every piece.
No mystery parts. No guesswork. No "we will have to come back for that."
The same team, start to finish
The people who stage the cart are the people who install the chamber, and they are the same people who answer the phone a year later when it is time for filters or a quick question. That continuity is the whole point. Buy from Prestige, get supported by Prestige forever—the same team who built it and installed it stays in your corner long after delivery day.
Prestige chambers are wellness equipment, and we keep our promises focused on what we control: reliable equipment, careful setup, safe operation, and real support. If you have questions about whether hyperbaric sessions are right for you, talk with a qualified healthcare professional.
Bottom line: a great install is mostly decided before the truck leaves. That is why every Prestige delivery starts on a cart, under good light, with a checklist and a signature.
