Hyperbaric Chambers
What is hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and how does it work?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves breathing oxygen in a pressurized environment — typically 1.3 to 2.5 ATA (atmospheres absolute). At elevated pressure, your lungs absorb significantly more oxygen than normal, which dissolves into your bloodstream and reaches tissues that standard circulation can't reach efficiently.

The result is accelerated healing, reduced inflammation, improved energy, and a range of therapeutic benefits supported by growing clinical research. Sessions typically last 60–90 minutes and are non-invasive.

What's the difference between softshell and hardshell chambers?

Softshell chambers are inflatable, portable, and typically reach 1.3–1.5 ATA. They use ambient air (not pure oxygen) and are a popular entry point for home users. They're quieter, lighter, and easier to store.

Hardshell chambers are rigid steel or acrylic units that reach 2.0–3.0 ATA. They can be paired with oxygen concentrators or 100% oxygen for more intensive therapy. Hardshells are what clinics and serious users prefer. They require more space and professional installation — which is exactly what we specialize in.

What ATA (pressure level) do I need?

This depends heavily on your goals. For general wellness, athletic recovery, and anti-aging, 1.3–1.5 ATA softshell chambers deliver meaningful benefits. For more targeted therapeutic use — wound healing, neurological recovery, post-surgery healing — 2.0 ATA or higher hardshell systems are recommended.

We're happy to help you choose. Call or visit our showroom and we'll walk through your specific goals and recommend the right unit — not the most expensive one.

Is hyperbaric oxygen therapy safe for home use?

Yes — when used properly, hyperbaric chambers are safe for home use. Softshell chambers at 1.3–1.5 ATA are especially low-risk. Key safety considerations include: never using electronics or open flames inside a chamber (especially with oxygen enrichment), following the manufacturer's session guidelines, and ensuring your chamber is installed and tested by a certified technician.

Fire risk disclosure: Any device that produces heat or sparks — including certain electronic accessories — should never be used inside a pressurized chamber. We provide thorough safety briefings with every purchase.

How many sessions does it take to see results?

Many users notice improved sleep, energy, and reduced inflammation within the first 5–10 sessions. For more significant therapeutic goals — neurological recovery, wound healing, autoimmune support — protocols typically call for 20–40 sessions, often daily or near-daily.

The beauty of owning your own chamber is that you can follow any protocol consistently without scheduling around a clinic.

Do I need a prescription to buy a hyperbaric chamber?

For softshell chambers operating at 1.3–1.5 ATA, no prescription is required for personal purchase. These units are sold as wellness devices. Hardshell chambers operating at 2.0+ ATA with 100% oxygen delivery may fall under medical device regulations depending on your state and intended use.

We'll advise you on any applicable regulations during your consultation. We serve both individual wellness buyers and licensed medical practitioners.

Wellness Services at Our Showroom
What wellness services are available at your Holiday, FL location?

Our showroom is a fully functional wellness center offering: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) sessions, Red Light Therapy, Infrared Sauna, and Cold Plunge. Every modality we sell is operational and available for walk-in or booked sessions.

This also means you can try a chamber before purchasing — something very few sellers offer.

How do I book a session?

You can book online via our booking form, call us at 727-591-4268, or email prestigehyperbaric@gmail.com. We're open Monday–Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday 10am–4pm. Walk-ins are welcome when sessions are available.

What should I wear or bring for a hyperbaric session?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting cotton clothing. Avoid synthetic fabrics, perfumes, and hairsprays. Remove jewelry, watches, and electronics before entering the chamber. Do not eat a heavy meal within 2 hours of your session. Stay hydrated before and after.

We provide everything else — a safety briefing, comfortable chamber setup, and post-session water.

Are there any contraindications for HBOT?

Certain conditions require clearance from a physician before using hyperbaric therapy, including: untreated pneumothorax (collapsed lung), certain ear or sinus conditions, active respiratory infections, and some medications. Pregnancy requires individual medical assessment.

We conduct a brief health screening before your first session and will refer you to a physician if needed. Your safety comes first — always.

Equipment & Products
What products do you sell?

Our product lineup includes: hyperbaric chambers (softshell 1.5 ATA and hardshell 2.0–2.5+ ATA), red light therapy panels (tabletop and full-body), PEMF therapy mats, infrared saunas, cold plunge units, oxygen concentrators, BIBS oxygen masks, grounding blankets, and in-chamber entertainment systems.

Visit our Equipment page for the full catalog with pricing.

What is red light therapy and what are the irradiance specs on your panels?

Red light therapy (photobiomodulation) uses specific wavelengths of red (630–660nm) and near-infrared (810–850nm) light to stimulate cellular energy production, reduce inflammation, and support skin, muscle, and joint recovery.

Our Aurora panels deliver 100+ mW/cm² irradiance at 6 inches, placing them in the therapeutic range. We always provide full irradiance specs — never vague "powerful LEDs" marketing language. Ask us for spec sheets on any specific unit.

Can I use electronics inside a hyperbaric chamber?

Fire risk disclosure: Hyperbaric chambers, especially those using supplemental oxygen, present an elevated fire risk. Devices that generate heat, sparks, or static — including certain phones, tablets, and chargers — should not be used inside a pressurized chamber without specific chamber-rated approval from the manufacturer.

We sell an approved in-chamber entertainment system specifically designed to be safe for use inside our chambers. Never use unapproved electronics inside any hyperbaric chamber. We'll brief you on this fully at time of purchase.

Do you offer white-glove delivery and installation?

Yes — and it's one of our key differentiators. We personally deliver, set up, and test every chamber we sell. We don't drop-ship and disappear. Our installation packages include setup, full calibration, safety walkthrough, and operational training so you're confident from day one.

We serve the Tampa Bay area directly and can arrange installation nationwide through our service network.

Warranty & Service
What does the 3-Year No-Fuss Warranty cover?

Our 3-year warranty covers parts and labor for defects in materials and workmanship for personal, residential use. "No-Fuss" means: when something goes wrong, we acknowledge it and fix it — no lengthy review processes, no blame-shifting, no overseas runaround.

Because we stock replacement parts in our USA warehouse, most issues are resolved within days — not the weeks or months it takes competitors to source parts from overseas factories.

Commercial & Clinical Use: Equipment deployed in a professional, commercial, or clinical setting — including wellness centers, hyperbaric clinics, medical offices, spas, gyms, or any facility providing paid sessions to third parties — carries a 1-year warranty. Commercial environments involve higher duty cycles and accelerated wear that exceed the parameters of the standard residential warranty. Extended warranty coverage for commercial use is available for purchase — contact us for pricing and terms.

What happens if my oxygen concentrator fails?

We stock complete replacement oxygen concentrators in our Holiday, FL warehouse. If yours fails under warranty, we ship a replacement unit the same business day — not in 6 weeks from a factory in China. This is one of the most important reasons to buy from someone with a real local warehouse.

Do you service chambers you didn't sell?

Yes. Our certified service team works on chambers from virtually every major manufacturer, regardless of where you purchased. Contact us at prestigehyperbaric@gmail.com with your chamber make and model and we'll provide a service quote. Note: service is prioritized for Prestige Hyperbaric clients and equipment owners.

How often does a hyperbaric chamber need maintenance?

For home softshell chambers: basic cleaning and zipper maintenance after each use; oxygen concentrator filter cleaning monthly; full inspection annually. For hardshell chambers: compressor maintenance every 500 hours, pressure relief valve testing annually, and full mechanical inspection every 12–18 months depending on use frequency.

We offer annual maintenance packages for Prestige clients. Ask us for details.

Financing
Do you offer financing for equipment purchases?

Yes. We work with multiple financing partners including Synchrony Health & Wellness, Beacon Capital Group, and Wisetack — covering consumer, business, and clinic financing. Terms range from 12–60 months with rates starting at 0% APR for promotional periods.

Visit our Financing page for full details and a payment estimator.

Will applying for financing affect my credit score?

With Wisetack, the initial rate check uses a soft inquiry — no impact to your score. If you proceed with a full application, a hard inquiry may occur (as with any credit application). We'll always tell you which type of inquiry applies before you submit.

Can a business or clinic finance equipment?

Absolutely. Our Beacon Capital partnership is specifically designed for business financing — including leasing options, larger loan amounts, and potential Section 179 tax deduction eligibility. Contact us directly for a business financing consultation.

Book a demo visit or a paid session and see everything running live.
