New product

New: the AC Maintenance Kit for a cleaner, mess-free chamber AC flush.

Prestige Hyperbaric

A simple service valve and drain hose that lets your chiller’s own pump push old water out into a bucket, from the very end of the loop. Cleaner flush, no mess.

What it is

The AC Maintenance Kit adds a dedicated service valve and drain hose to the return line of your chamber’s AC water chiller. With it installed, the chiller’s own water pump pushes the old water out through the drain hose and into a bucket. No tipping the chiller, no chasing spills.

$120 + $25 flat US shipping. It fits Prestige Hyperbaric chambers and Airvida- and OxyRevo-style chamber AC systems, and it can be tailored to any chamber AC system.

Why draining from the return line matters

The kit goes on the hose connected to the chiller port labeled LOW TEMP WATER INLET. By the time water reaches that point, it has been pumped out to the chamber and through the internal AC fan unit inside the chamber. Draining there means you are taking the water out at the very end of the system.

That is the whole advantage. Old water and sediment go into your bucket instead of being pushed back through the chiller and the chamber AC, which makes for the most thorough flush.

How the flush works

  1. Install the service valve kit on the return line going into the chiller’s Low Temp Water Inlet.
  2. Place a 5-gallon bucket under the kit’s drain hose.
  3. Turn on the water chiller and open the service valve. The pump pushes the old water into the bucket.
  4. Close the valve before the reservoir runs low and refill with fresh water.
  5. Let the fresh water circulate and flush the unit, then open the valve and drain again.
  6. Keep adding fresh water and draining until it runs clean.

We recommend a 5-gallon bucket for the job. Service the AC only when the chamber is not in session, keep the valve closed during normal operation, and don’t let the chiller run dry. Full step-by-step instructions with photos are in the AC Maintenance Kit Owner Manual (PDF).

Order and send us a photo

Because chamber AC systems vary, after you order, email photos of your AC chiller and its hose connections to prestigehyperbaric@gmail.com. We’ll confirm exactly which kit you need before it ships.
